{"id":1246,"date":"2016-09-23T15:14:43","date_gmt":"2016-09-23T19:14:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/kedzov\/?p=1246"},"modified":"2016-09-23T15:14:43","modified_gmt":"2016-09-23T19:14:43","slug":"leadership-opportunities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/kedzov\/2016\/09\/23\/leadership-opportunities\/","title":{"rendered":"Leadership Opportunities!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Student Lighthouse \u00a0Grades 1-5 , (K to join later in the year)<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Whitmore-Bolles Student Lighthouse Team members must consistently demonstrate the following leadership characteristics:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Dependability, reliability, and respect<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Completes classwork and homework assignments<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Strong work ethic<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Exemplary conduct and citizenship in and out of school<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Excellent attendance (on time with limited absences and early check-outs)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Good judgment and decision making skills<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Comfortable with public speaking<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Ability to teach and demonstrate the 7 Habits to other students<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Be willing to meet before school at <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_735282109\"><span class=\"aQJ\">8am<\/span><\/span> one day a week<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Project Unify (grades 3-5)<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Project Unify is a program funded through Special Olympics Michigan.\u00a0 As a project unify athlete, you will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Attend practices weekly.
