{"id":761,"date":"2016-02-19T16:34:16","date_gmt":"2016-02-19T21:34:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/kearneybridgette\/?p=761"},"modified":"2016-02-19T16:34:16","modified_gmt":"2016-02-19T21:34:16","slug":"reminder-dates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/kearneybridgette\/2016\/02\/19\/reminder-dates\/","title":{"rendered":"Reminder Dates"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Thursday the 25th -Science Fair 5:30-6:30 PM<\/p>\n<p>We did our experiment today. \u00a0The question was will we go down the slide faster sitting up or laying on our stomachs. \u00a0Students made their hypothesis, I recorded the times and then when we came in they recorded their results. \u00a0We also looked at both sets of data and noticed that we went down faster on our stomach than sitting up. \u00a0In fact they noticed how most of the time trials for laying down were anywhere from 4-6 seconds with one a little over 3 seconds. \u00a0They also noticed that there was a large gap in time trials for sitting up, anywhere from 17.6 seconds to 5.6 seconds. \u00a0They talked with their table partners and came up with some ideas as to what may have slowed them down and what may have helped them go faster. \u00a0Next week we\u00a0will explore why (the science) they went faster on their stomach.<\/p>\n<p>Field Trip Friday the 26th. \u00a0Chaperons please\u00a0meet in our classroom prior to leaving so I can assign you a group and give you other needed information.
