If your child has a fever or is really ill with a stomach bug then of course they need to be home healing. \u00a0Students who are repeatedly absent are having a hard time keeping up. \u00a0It is also important to make doctor appointments after school hours or on scheduled days off or early in the morning on \u00a0late start days. Keeping students home on half days, pulling students out early for appointments or to see their siblings perform in a sporting event and keeping them home when they could be at school negatively impacts their learning as they miss lessons, tests, and activities that get them ready for second grade.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you,<\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Kearney<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Parents, This is a friendly reminder that it is very important that your child be in school so that they do not miss out on learning.
