Here’s some information to help you on this week’s assignment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ANGLES<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This < is the angle symbol. So <A would read “angle A”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To name an angle we can use one letter or number or three letters, keeping the main one in the center. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, we could name this <O
We could name this < AOB (notice the O is in the middle of the name)
We could name this < BOA (notice the O is in the middle of the name)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RAYS, LINES, and SEGMENTS<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Resources<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Lines, rays and segments are all named with 2 letters, the beginning and end of the set. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We put the symbol for each on top of the letters so that we know if it’s a ray, line or segment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
