Happy Thursday:<\/p>\n

We had a great first week at school.\u00a0 The students are adjusting to the new school year and we are ready to begin our studies.\u00a0 Our first spelling words are coming home tonight:\u00a0 Students must choose 4 spelling activities\u00a0<\/strong>from the Spelling BINGO sheet to do every week (the top says 5 but they only need to do 4).\u00a0 Students are given a week to complete 4 activities of their choice.\u00a0 All 4 activities will be checked on THURSDAY of the following week.\u00a0 I will be checking the 4 activities from this week’s words on 9\/6\/18.\u00a0 I recommend that the students do them over the weekend if they are able to, but they can also do them at home Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday.\u00a0 The choice is yours.\u00a0 I know families are busy so I give you time to do it based on your schedule.\u00a0 Our spelling tests will be on Friday every week.<\/p>\n

    We begin NWEA testing next week.\u00a0 We will do NWEA math on Tuesday 9\/4\/18 and reading on Wednesday 9\/5\/18.\u00a0 I will be starting DRA’s next week to assess everyone’s reading level.\u00a0 This information will be shared with parents once all of the students are done testing.<\/p>\n
