Welcome to a new school year at Oakman. \u00a0I am very excited to be your child’s teacher this year. \u00a0We spent today developing classroom rules and procedures, learning about our teacher, and learning about each other.<\/p>\n
Each child brought home their Oakman folder today- There is important paperwork in there that must be returned. \u00a0Make sure you double check the information on your child’s contact card. \u00a0If the information is correct, sign the back and return it tomorrow. \u00a0If it’s incorrect, fix the mistakes, sign, and return tomorrow. \u00a0Please make sure you add the names of your child’s siblings if they are not already on the card.<\/p>\n
There is also a packet from me in the folder. Please sign the back of the forms asking for volunteers- even if you cannot volunteer this year. \u00a0I want to have an email address and phone number in case I need to contact you. \u00a0The expectations form is for both 1st and 2nd graders- unfortunately when I made copies the 1st grade got cut off.<\/p>\n
Our lunch time is from 12:00-12:30. \u00a0This may be later in the day than your child is used to. \u00a0Make sure your child eats a good breakfast everyday and brings a snack.<\/p>\n
