    1. Picture day is this Thursday!\u00a0 Make sure you include the picture money AND money for the tax.\u00a0 A $10 picture package costs $10.60 with tax.<\/li>\n
    2. The mandatory literacy meeting is next Monday 10\/30\/17 from 2:50-3:30.\u00a0 You will receive important information about your child’s school year and you may take your child with you when the meeting is over.<\/li>\n
    3. Trunk or Treat is Tuesday 10\/31\/17- The cost is $3 per child to dress up for the day, get a pumpkin, and go trunk-or-treating \ud83d\ude42<\/li>\n
    4. We have a field trip on Wednesday November 1, 2017.\u00a0 We are going to the Henry Ford Museum.\u00a0 The cost is $0.00\u00a0 A permission slip is coming home tomorrow.\u00a0 Please return it by Thursday 10\/26\/17.\u00a0 If you can be a parent chaperone please let me know- the cost is covered if you ride the bus with us.\u00a0 Remember no younger children may attend.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      This survey consists of two questions to collect parent feedback on the possibility to pilot year-round school concept in one or two elementary schools. One of the arguments for year-round schooling is that children will have better knowledge retention versus having too much of a mental break in the summer. School calendar would be extended to include additional four weeks in the summer.
