\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Gay Marriage has been banned since 1960 in the State of Michigan. The rule was\u00a0no\u00a0people of the same gender can get married to each other. <\/b><\/p>\n

Well on March 21st, 2014 Michigan\u00a0passed the law allowing marriage\u00a0to your own gender, and hundreds of gay people were happy about it.<\/b><\/p>\n

Many\u00a0went to the court house and got married as soon as they could. Lots of people are against this gay marriage so they were\u00a0all outside of City Hall protesting that there shouldn\u2019t be gay marriage.<\/b><\/p>\n

Lots of people say that gay marriage\u00a0is a sign that the world is coming to an end!<\/b><\/p>\n

On Monday in\u00a0<\/b>Ypsilanti Township, three men assaulted a woman because she married\u00a0her gay partner. One of them, calling her a terrible names for a woman. \u00a0A man then punched her in the face, knocking her to the floor and causing her to lose awareness.<\/b>When she woke up, one of the men was kicking her in the torso. <\/b><\/p>\n

This \u00a0women had been seen on the news for wanting to marry her partner. Since lots of people have been judging and making scenes they have now decided to hold back gay marriage until 2016. \u00a0Gay couples will have to wait two years to get possibly get married in Michigan now.<\/b><\/p>\n

Many people only\u00a0want to see male and female marriage, not male and male and female and female. But everybody has a different preference.<\/b><\/p>\n

Lots of gay people are angry\u00a0from all the hate and are saying \u201cWe are just the same as anyone else, leave us alone and mind your business.\u201d President Obama says \u201cSame-sex couples should be able to get married.\u201d He believes it’s their choice, what do you believe?<\/b><\/p>\n
