He came from lunch on a snowy day to eat at home and go back to school, since he lived nearby.<\/span><\/p>\n

But he did not go back.<\/span><\/p>\n

Walking with his friend home to his apartment, they reached his house and his friend hit him with a snowball.<\/span><\/p>\n

So he hit him back and ran to the building to buzz in. But, before he got inside another snowball hit him.<\/span><\/p>\n

A classic game of snowball fight.<\/span><\/p>\n

But not your average ending.<\/span><\/p>\n

He had to have the last hit, and that is precisely what he tried to achieve. His friend though, couldn\u2019t accept that, so he chased him which is when he ran between two cars onto the street to get away\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

What a mistake…<\/span><\/p>\n

He was hit by a car <\/span><\/p>\n

He hit the ground and bounced like a basketball from the impact.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cEverything went dark,\u201d he says\u2026\u201dI felt as if the world had paused and was rewinding in front of my eyes, I was seeing the situation from above now but it was very dim.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Two broken legs one in one place and the other in two, a broken nose, both shoulders dislocated\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

He stayed in the hospital for two months.<\/span><\/p>\n

At ten years of age, it must have been a tough situation.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, there was some relief in his world full of pain…when he first got to the emergency room they gave him a shot of morphine. Which to him felt like a warm blanket was draped over his legs. <\/span><\/p>\n

Aside from the pain, it was also very harsh psychologically.<\/span><\/p>\n

For it \u00a0was not damage that was permanent<\/span><\/p>\n

but the memory.<\/span><\/p>\n
