{"id":2178,"date":"2017-12-08T08:52:06","date_gmt":"2017-12-08T13:52:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/journalism\/?p=2178"},"modified":"2017-12-08T15:07:55","modified_gmt":"2017-12-08T20:07:55","slug":"uncontrollable-rage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/journalism\/2017\/12\/08\/uncontrollable-rage\/","title":{"rendered":"Uncontrollable Rage"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rage is not always uncontrollable, but lots of people underestimate what uncontrollable rage can really do to you. Uncontrollable rage is rage you can not control, Uncontrollable rage could cause you to to hurt and or tragically kill someone. Each and every person could have a different perspective on how to control their anger.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Uncontrollable rage can affect people&#8217;s emotions by them having a struggle in their head about should they do this or that. What people are usually thinking about is how angry they are and how they can let it out appropriately.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to a new study out of Harvard,\u201dAbout two thirds of American teens had a history of anger attacks involving real or threatened violence\u201d they also stated \u201c63.3 percent of adolescents reported lifetime anger attacks that involved destroying property, threatening others, or engaging in violence.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recently Sandra Waller an employee at a Burlington Coat Factory which is located in Taylor, Michigan, has allegedly shot a co-worke<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">r Named <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Loraine Faison <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">i<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">n the head due to a fight they had the day before. The women who shot her co-worker was charged with firearm and murder. This is a very good example of how uncontrollable rage affects people. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Israa Awada an 8th grader at unis middle school stated,\u201d What I do to control my anger is honestly do something that relaxes me like drawing or listening to some music. Uncontrollable rage is when you are very angry and you don\u2019t know how to control it well. For example like breaking glass or flipping a table would be uncomfortable.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Israa also stated, \u201d I have witnessed uncontrollable rage before but they didn&#8217;t put it on someone else they put it on the driving wheel. What they did and by they I am talking about my neighbor, so they were picking me up one day and she was angry while talking on the phone and she was driving dangerously so thank god nothing happened to me.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0According to the DSM IV-TR, \u201cAnger is a normal emotion, but it has to be channeled properly. While many teens experience mood swings and irritability, which is perfectly normal\u201d they also stated \u201c Once it starts you can\u2019t stop\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00a0\u00a0Dawn Agemy, a computer apps teacher at Unis middle school \u201c What I do to control my anger is to usually do simpler type things like count from 1 to 10.\u201d \u00a0Dawn also argued \u201c It is not right for people to put other people in danger because something went on in their life.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0According to girl_interrupted \u201cIt&#8217;s funny the things that trigger our emotions. This morning I was waiting for an FBT and had been waiting nearly an hour when in walked 2 people who were bumped up the line and I was told I had to go to another clinic because they were priority.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00a0\u00a0Mirna Badran an 8th grader at Lowrey middle school, \u201c What I do to control my anger is usually talk to friends or do something that takes my mind off of it. \u00a0I have also witnessed a car accident that was waiting to happen on the highway of a man that was supposedly in a rush and couldn&#8217;t take the traffic jam.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00a0\u00a0Mirna also stated,\u201d Anger is when your blood starts boiling that you can\u2019t take it anymore so you put every last thing that made you angry to another person, or \u00a0it could mean that you are to mad to even say a word.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00a0In conclusion uncontrollable rage is most of the time put on another person&#8217;s \u00a0back because that is how tempting it is.
