I put out how do you think the driving age limit should be modified? His response was I don’t think it should be modified at all it is perfect at 16 years. Which it already is, but I want it to change due to the car accidents that most young drivers create. It makes the street unsafe because they are speeding and not paying attention to the road. When I asked him when does a person truly become responsible, he replied a person truly becomes responsible when they are 18.

I had a discussion with Mohamed Dabaja a 10th grade student at Dearborn High that is currently going to driving school. I also asked when does a student truly become responsible? He put back “I think a person becomes responsible at 18 when they get their ID but that doesn’t mean you cannot drive at 16.”

I also interviewed Mohammed Sobh a 19 year old barber that drives. He put back people truly become responsible when they turn 18 so i’m good but most people are irresponsible even when they’re 18.

In conclusion most people think the driving age limit should not changed but that is not true because drivers should be taught at a young age so that they don’t have to always ask for a ride from their parents to go to college or high school.

Currently the legal age to have a driving licence is 16.
