Danger everywhere, children are endangered everywhere they go, even when they are left in daycare, or with a babysitter.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0After, most people hearing a lot of things about what’s been going on some people don’t feel safe leaving their children to be watched anymore. Young kids were injured while they were at a daycare because a child got a hold of a gun in Dearborn. <\/span><\/p>\n

If this keeps going on, the people running the daycares won’t make any money because no one will\u00a0 bring their kids and they don’t believe their kids are safe. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0Although many daycares are safe for children, families still don’t believe so. Jenna Bittar, a mother of two children who leaves her children in daycare still feels that it’s safe to leave them at some daycares. <\/span><\/p>\n

She notes, \u201cI would feel safe leaving my child at a daycare center only after touring around the facility and making sure it is clean and safe. I would like to be able to access video monitors throughout the day, so I can check on my little ones.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

Jenna also stated ,she would only feel comfortable with leaving her child at home daycares if she knew the person really well and would want to know who lives in the household.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIn my opinion I believe they are safe. I think it depends on what age the children you are watching, for example, if you want a one-year-old, you have to be sure to baby proof cabinets, and electronics,\u201dnoted Jenna.<\/span><\/p>\n

For many people they believe there should be a certain age to be left in daycare. Jenna States, \u201cthere should not be a certain age to be left in daycare, because the majority of people work. I need a reliable safe place to watch my children.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0Sylvia Oatley, a teacher at Unis Middle School, leaves both of her children at a daycare center<\/span><\/p>\n

She states, \u201cI do feel safe leaving my children at a daycare center I choose, because I trust the care they get and I know they’re certified through the state to give care to children.”<\/span><\/p>\n

According to Center for American Progress, children are put in daycare because their parents work.<\/span><\/p>\n

She also stated, \u201cthat yes, I feel comfortable with leaving my child with a stranger who runs a home daycare but if they are Licensed and if I knew whether adult with a child ratio is and if I trust the individual worker.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHome daycares are regulated as strictly as regularly day cares so it’s hard to say if majority of home daycares are safe in my opinion,”states Sylvia.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThere shouldn’t be a certain age to be left in a daycare, Sylvia stated, I think that’s really depending on the parents, my kids didn’t start daycares till they were one, and it worked really well for us.\u00a0<\/span>For many people home daycare’s and their opinion are proofed correctly but in Sylvia’s opinion, \u201cshe noted some of them are, it depends if their license home daycares and it depends on the care that the adult is providing.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Amanda Olson another teacher at Unis Middle School, who keeps her son with a babysitter at home. <\/span><\/p>\n

She states, \u201cI would not feel safe leaving my child in a daycare center because there isn’t enough security and attention paid to every individual child.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI do not feel comfortable with leaving my child with a stranger because I only feel comfortable with leaving him with someone that I know would care for him properly\u201d she notes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Many people have a different opinion with day care centers because most of them know the people or the workers there. <\/span><\/p>\n

Amanda stated\u2019 \u201cthat I’d like to think that the majority of home day cares are safe but I haven’t really been in enough to say if they are or not it depends on how many people are working at the daycare center in ratio to how many children there are there.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c I don’t know if there should be a certain age to be left in a daycare because I don’t know about age but I think it should be when the child is old enough to tell you what happened to them The main things is I want to know if someone hurt him because he can’t talk You can’t tell me if someone bites him or leave him in his dirty diaper all day Amanda notes\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cLastly I would like to believe that home daycares are Proof correctly but you hear stories about how children in day care’s get a hold of guns which is what happened in Dearborn recently You need to inspect the place before and know who you’re leaving your child with\u201d Amanda also states.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0At the end of the day, most people look forward to keep their kids in daycare because they need the help to watch their kids because they are a working parent. \u201cAccording to Sylvia daycare’s are a big help for her and her husband.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cSylvia feel safe with keeping her children in daycare and Jenna who also feel safe with keeping her children and most daycares.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Problems can occur in some day cares what others are really good and safe.<\/span><\/p>\n
