Many people were very disappointed to find out that the iPhone 8 was almost an exact remake of the iPhone 7. But with the iPhone X being released less than 2 weeks ago, many have mixed emotions toward this new phone. Many also took it to social media to express their thoughts about these new phones.

“There was honestly no difference between the iPhone 7 and iPhone 8, I had no choice to get it because my phone was broken, but I just think that’s Apple’s way of getting their money on useless items.” she went on to say “although I will say that the only difference visually between the iPhone 8 is the glass back which is pretty cool.” But Yasmeen isn’t the only one who feels this way.

Aya Hamzah also said “I actually miss the iPhone 7 because my battery life wastes even faster than my old phone, and there are many issues with this phone that have not been fixed even after all the updates.”

But enough with the iPhone 8, let’s get straight to the main focus, the iPhone X. Melinda Kada, a close family friend states “everything about this phone is worth it! From the battery life to the to the wireless charging, faster connection and the face Id, this phone should be worth millions!” From the looks of it this phone seems like it has anything anyone wants! But may will disagree with Melinda’s comment.

Mya Mathena, 8th grader at Bryant Middle School, claimed “the main issue with this phone is the face ID. It either takes a good 3-5 seconds to open or sometimes doesn’t work. This phone should be for extreme tech workers because it is so complicated for a child to have it’s ridiculous! Not to mention, if you drop the phone once on either it’s front or back, it’s most likely to crack on its first try, because it’s made of actual glass.”

So by the looks of it, it seems that we can either love or hate the new iPhone X. With many different opinions on the phone, such as the unnecessary features that just adds onto the price of the phone, it is a controversial subject on the minds of plenty. The phone is overrated due to the fact that it’s a new product, and that is a fact that cannot be denied.

-Haydar Moustafa.

As you already know. this year Apple released the iPhone 8 and iPhone X.
