All across the country Muslims are being called terrorists. Media often talks about muslims in bad ways instead of showing the positivities. The highest population of Muslims outside the Middle East is in Dearborn, Michigan. \u00a0Muslims make up 30% of Dearborn\u2019s population. \u00a0They sometimes feel threatened and are scared to be around different races because Muslims are judged unfairly. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0Muslims are being talked about and blamed for things they had nothing to do with. Leann Bazzi a student that attends Unis Middle School states that \u201cpeople believe Muslims are terrorists because theirs isis and he’s Muslim and because of the wars that are going on in Lebanon.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

The national news is really unfair according to some people, for example \u201cLeann notes that the media shows more of the negatives the the positives because they always want anything that happens to be blamed on Muslims.\u201d \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Leann notes. \u201cMost people put and say fake things about Muslims to make them look bad and sometimes might change a couple things.To me, there are good Muslims out there that aren’t trying to harm anyone.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

She also states that \u201cMuslims are being targeted they are usually being called terrorists and are known as bad people, every time anyone hears about a terror the first thing that comes to mind is Muslims. <\/span><\/p>\n

Leann also states the reason why they blame everyone if one person does one thing wrong is \u201c it’s kind of how every culture is when one person does something wrong they everyone that has the same culture.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0According to another student that also attends Unis Middle School Jawad Anani really hates when Muslims are being talked about because he’s a Muslim as well he states.<\/span><\/p>\n

He thinks Muslims are being called terrorists because of how the Twin Towers were blown up by a Muslim.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jawad also notes that \u201cEvery Time the national news see a suicide bomb or a threat they right away just think it’s a Muslim without even looking into it.\u201d After interviewing many people each one had a different opinion on Muslims. But Jawad states that \u201c his opinion on Muslims being good will never change because not all Muslims do the wrong things but their are some bad ones out there but not all.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe one thing Jawad states that he very dislikes is when the media targets Muslims they usually do that because they have no one else to blame.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0People that aren’t Muslims even really like being around Muslims. Emily Matash, a teacher that teaches at Unis Middle School but isn’t a Muslim loves working with different Muslims from different cultures. She states that \u201cMany people believe that Muslims are terrorists because many people sterilize them because if one terrises others every Muslim is the same to them.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cFrom what I gathered when there’s a terrorist attack by a Muslim they make sure to do show it but if it’s not by a Muslim they just let it pass and not talk about it ,\u201dMrs. Matash states.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cShe also states that her opinion will never change about Muslims because she is able to work and see what kind hearted people they are.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

So far all the people that were interviewed had the same opinion on one <\/span><\/p>\n

thing, which is the media targets Muslims when ever their is an act of terror<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cshe states the media portrays Muslims in a negative way if there’s a terrorist attack the first thing they look at is if there’s Muslims, In the U.S most attacks are done by white males but that isn’t made into a big deal.\u201d Some people are just closed minded if one person thinks one thing they all just agree and don’t discuss. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Steve Drinkert a teacher that teaches at Unis Middle School states \u201c people believe Muslims are terrorists because of the ignorance and not trying to understand how different cultures and religions act.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

According to many people the national news isn’t fair about what they talk about Muslims. \u201cHe states people just jump to conclusions instead of trying to discuss and figure out what actually happens.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

So far everyone I’ve interviewed their opinion on Muslims hasn’t changed including Mr. Drinkert,he notes \u201cmy opinion will not change because I have a good understanding on what the Muslim community is and how caring and loving the community is.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

The media targets Muslims whenever there is an act of terror \u201cbecause of the ignorance in people and not understanding what really happened.\u201d<\/span>\"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n
