This all started when Colin Kaepernick chose to kneel during the preseason game against the Green Bay Packers on August 26, 2017. \u00a0\u00a0This was a protest of racial inequality, mainly pointing fingers at police officers. Police have killed many african americans , For example when the officer Jason Stockley shot and killed 24 year old Anthony Lamar Smith. He shot him to death because he thought he was a threat. This incident happened on December 20, 2011 in St. Louis, Missouri. The protest was going nicely before all the drama.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The protest was about inequality to African Americans, some people would kneel sit or raise their fist. On September 25, 2017 President Donald Trump spoke out against people supporting Colin Kaepernick\u2019s kneeling protest, he tweeted \u201c If NFL fans refuse to go to games until players stop disrespecting our Flag & Country, you will see change take place fast. Fire or suspend!<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Honestly everyone should be treated equally either color, race, and anything to identify them. I could be any color or race and should be treated equal no matter what. What kaepernick did \u00a0was just a simple protest. Mr. Kurt Berkholz had a few things to say about this. \u201c Trump upset some NFL players by stating that any NFL player that does not stand during the National Anthem should be fired , Now some NFL players view this as not only a protest against police brutality but a freedom of speech demonstration \u201c. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

So Donald Trump was trying to matters worse but now he made them much stronger. He also stated that \u201cBeing able to protest and speak freely is the foundation of a free society\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cTrump is free to share his opinion and NFL players are also free to protest peacefully\u201d. So he agrees with both opinions I would say I agree , but Trumps comment was not really fair.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This protest is actually starting to spread to many other teams, schools, etc. <\/span><\/p>\n

What would a football coach and football player think? \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Well Christian Smith said, \u201cI think it\u2019s dumb they shouldn\u2019t get fired because they’re fighting for their race, Trump should.\u201d Christian also said that he’s been taking knees at all his football games. This is exactly what I was talking about earlier that people have joined the protest. Christian was basically saying that NFL can do whatever they intend to do!\"\"<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0A Coach named Robert Height blew me away with what he had To say<\/span><\/p>\n

such amazing answers. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

He said, \u201cHe’s firing people that he chose to work for him<\/span><\/p>\n

so him wanting others fired for standing for something shows his true weakness.\u201d he states this from his point of view on NFL protesting Trump. This was probably a good topic for Coach Robert Height mainly because he has been playing football since he was 14. Coach Robert Height seems really dedicated to his team. He also said that to get the point where it should be, but we can work on getting to a place that it’s never been before. We need more people with platforms to show up.<\/span>
\n<\/span>just to show the stand for all of us. All lives matter so everyone should take a stand. <\/span><\/p>\n
