Image from Creative Commons\/Google.]<\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv2025957383MsoNormal\">The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), have been bombing and terrorizing the world since 2004, their attacks this year the worst of them all. They killed \u00a0hundreds of innocent people including the beheading of two American journalists Steven Sotloff and James Foley, also a\u00a0 British aid worker David Hanes. \u201cIt\u2019s scary knowing that they\u2019re capable of all this.\u201d Says 8<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0grade, \u00a0Unis student, Batoul Baydoun.<\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1412866754637_2403\" class=\"yiv2025957383MsoNormal\">On September 10, President Obama made a speech on the U.S defense against ISIS, he said the U.S will not be a part of the war, but he will send air strikes and troops to help prepare the Iraqi military. The U.S. is also willing to\u00a0arm Iraq with weapons so they could fight for themselves.<\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1412866754637_2405\" class=\"yiv2025957383MsoNormal\">When asked what her thoughts on this plan were, Zahraa Aljebory, an 8<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0grader at Unis, said, \u201cIt\u2019s a bad idea, why waste time training people who don\u2019t know how to fight when the ones who know how to can.\u201d After being asked the same question, Fatme Almoola, 8<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0grader, said, \u201cThere\u2019s already war everywhere, it\u2019ll be worse if the U.S gets involved, it\u2019s a bad idea.\u201d<\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1412866754637_2407\" class=\"yiv2025957383MsoNormal\">With everyday they bring more and more terror and kills, Obama\u2019s plan is meant to protect the U.S from ending up with the same fate as the other countries.
