Did you know today, more and more colleges and universities are offering not only individual courses, but entire degree programs online? Should colleges and universities offer degrees entirely online?<\/p>\n

The current challenges facing traditional colleges and universities, including higher tuition, budget cuts, and course shortages, have caused many students to search for alternatives. Ali Jouni, a college student who takes online college classes chores,\u201d It\u2019s better to stay home and take your courses while your mom and dad are out shopping or doing chores.\u201d Also,\u201d Taking care of my little brother is easier knowing he\u2019s safe at home with me.\u201d Now you can stay home with your siblings, or kids knowing that they are safe.<\/p>\n

Onl\"\"<\/a>ine programs can be a more affordable option than traditional colleges. Though not all online degrees have less expensive net tuition prices than traditional colleges, associated costs are almost always less expensive. Ms. Kobeissi, an art teacher here at Unis, has taken Online college classes and earned her degree in Art. She quoted,\u201dGetting my degree online was very convenient, and I managed to save a lot of money while I was working as well. I also got to stay home instead of being somewhere at a certain place or time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Commercials that feature online students studying in the pajamas only, skim the surface of one of the primary benefits of online education. There are no physical class sessions. Lectures and other materials are electronically sent to the student, who will then read them and complete assignments. Fatme Jouni, who is starting to take online classes says,\u201c I literally sit in my bed with my pajamas doing my work.\u201d Also,\u201c If I need to get food or a drink I can.\u201d Students will not have to fight traffic, find parking spaces, leave work early to go to class, or miss important family time.<\/p>\n

In conclusion, taking online courses will help you in the long run. These are just a few of the many advantages of taking online classes. Students in online degree programs are able to manage their time, learn the materials that are presented, and complete assignments on their own schedules.<\/p>\n
