Did you \u00a0know that people immigrate to the United States for various reasons. Some reasons are for \u00a0freedom, to practice their religio\"\"<\/a>n freely, to escape poverty and oppression, and to have better lives for themselves and their children. Many people believe that the USA is the best country in the world.<\/p>\n

My opinion is that I don\u2019t think America is the best country in the world and I dont think its the worst. America has many pros but also has many cons. \u00a0First of all our country has a constitution.The constitution helps protect all Americans from attacks on the citizenry. Not just that but it prohibits big religious groups from taking over politics.We also have good health care systems. The reason most people immigrate to the the USA is mostly because of wars in their home country. They come to the USA to get better education and to just live their lives. America also has good education and many great colleges. According to WWW.MPI.com<\/a> the immigration population stood at more than 42.4 million or 13.3 percent of the total U.S population in 2014.<\/p>\n

I believe that the biggest problem in America is our horrible crime rates. According to WWW.fbi.gov<\/a> , the estimated number of murders is 15,696. I feel like America has people politically and socially divided. Our tax law is overly complex. Not just that but food is unhealthy on so many levels. More than 2 thirds (68.8 percent) of adults are considered to be obese according to www.niddk.nih.gov<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Compared t\"\"<\/a>o other countries we are behind on many things. Not just that but there are many people who are in poverty. We also have many homeless people. The USA spends the most money per student on education and they end up getting bad outcomes. \u00a0I also feel like America is the best at creating super rich people at the expenses of other people. Zeinab Alghanem an 8th grade student who goes to Unis Middle School says, \u201cWe aren\u2019t a first world country and we don\u2019t think about others in poverty.\u201d According to WWW.poverty.ucdavis.edu , the official poverty rate of the U.S is 13.5 percent.<\/p>\n

In the end America would still be a good country to live in if it wasn\u2019t for its cons. Our countries has good times but as well as bad. We had a bloody and painful birth as a nation, but we still fought our way through. The USA has gone through alot in such a short time.<\/p>\n
