But, some students have their parents working at the same schools they go to. Parents may be teachers, administrators, lunch staff, or a para-pro. There some students with parents that work at McCollough Unis. Parents may choose to have their children go to the same school as them for a certain reason or it may be a coincidence.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Even the principal at Unis has two of his children at the school. 7th grader Mona Farhat, one of Mr.Farhat\u2019s daughters says,\u201dI don\u2019t think that anything has changed, I feel like everything<a href=\"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/journalism\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/929\/2017\/03\/IMG_2302-1-Edited.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1739 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/journalism\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/929\/2017\/03\/IMG_2302-1-Edited-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"130\" height=\"173\" srcset=\"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/journalism\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/929\/2017\/03\/IMG_2302-1-Edited-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/journalism\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/929\/2017\/03\/IMG_2302-1-Edited-768x1024.jpg 768w, https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/journalism\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/929\/2017\/03\/IMG_2302-1-Edited-280x373.jpg 280w, https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/journalism\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/929\/2017\/03\/IMG_2302-1-Edited-660x880.jpg 660w, https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/journalism\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/929\/2017\/03\/IMG_2302-1-Edited.jpg 1224w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 130px) 100vw, 130px\" \/><\/a> is the same as it was before he started working here.\u201d Mr.Farhat likes having his daughters at Unis with him, he said, \u201cIt\u2019s really nice having them here. I like seeing them during the day.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>There are so many advantages of having your parent work at your school. Not only do you see them during the day, but if you ever need anything they will most likely be there to give it to you. Need money for a field trip? Don&#8217;t worry your mom or dad could give you money. Some kids may not like the idea of having their parent at school but when you think about it it&#8217;s actually something that could really help you out.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There are many reasons why some parents want their child to go to school with them. Mr.Smedley, a teacher at Unis, has his son Ethan going to Unis as well. He wanted to be more involved in his son&#8217;s life. Mr.Smedley stated, \u201cI am very happy to have my son at school. We have time to talk on our way to and from school. Whether your parent works at your school or not it\u2019s still neat knowing that one of your teachers is your friend\u2019s dad, or that you\u2019re friends with the principal&#8217;s daughter.
