People\u00a0will soon be able to get smartphone directions for how to go from one place to another inside a building. \u00a0The camera sensor worked together to create a grid of data that became a 3-D image. \u00a0Like who wouldnt want to have a 3-D image of a building? I know I would.<\/p>\n<p>Having this app is not just fun and cool, it helps people navigate their location. This app can affect people\u2019s daily lives and activities. Homeowners could use this app to create a digital tour of their houses before putting them up for sale. This software could also help the blind walk through a building. The possibilities are endless.<\/p>\n<p>Google has been working with developers on this ground-breaking technology. Their work is called Project Tango. Professor Roumeliotis, 43, has been working on this map since 1995. \u201cI think it would be just as important as Google Maps and would be really helpful in the future.\u201d, said Professor Roumeliotis.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/atap\/projecttango\/#project\">Google Project Tango: How It Works? Informational Video<\/a><\/p>\n<p>This app would take a while to come out though. That would give app developers time to come up with 3-D applications that can take advantage of the new technology before putting it on Google. It could\u00a0still be a\u00a0very long time before it reaches the customers.<\/p>\n<p>Having this app developed\u00a0\u00a0is a genius idea. \u201cIt would become the Google Maps of the indoor world.
