Traffic is a big part of our school, bigger than you think. There is so much traffic and it’s affecting the students. It’s making us late to class and making parents late to work. How much is school traffic actually affecting us?<\/span><\/p>\n

\"image-5\"<\/a>At McCollough Unis, traffic might be a problem, but we are trying to solve it. We have come up with multiple ways of how we can decrease traffic. <\/span><\/p>\n

Mr Farhat, principle of McCollough Unis, said \u201cSince the start of the school, we\u2019ve been communicating parents about assisting us with making the arrival and dismissal traffic run smoothly.\u201d This is one of the many ways we are trying to decrease traffic. We are making progress and there has been less traffic and the school has even added stop signs at the drop off\/dismissal area.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"image\"<\/a>Traffic in our school affects students in several ways like making students late to class. 8th grader Yakeen Bazzi said \u201cI’ve been late to many different events after school because of traffic and traffic coming to school is even worse.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

However, some students do disagree like Summer Saeed. Summer stated \u201cWell I think traffic at the school isn’t bad if you go early and it isn’t bad after school if your car waits a few minutes later.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

School tr\"image-6\"<\/a>affic also affects the parents driving the students to school. Yakeen\u2019s father, Mr. Bazzi, said \u201cSometimes the traffic is so bad that it makes me late to work.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

On the other hand, we can avoid this problem as Summer\u2019s dad, Mr. Saeed, said \u201cI\u2019ll usually be there at 7:23 to 7:30 so there is no traffic at all and every morning is good.\u201d Traffic is making students late to class and making parents late to work, but there are a few simple solutions\u00a0to avoid all the traffic.<\/span><\/p>\n

In conclusion, traffic is a bigger problem in school than we think between arrival and dismissal. It affects us all in several ways. There are many ways we can decrease and avoid it. We should work as a school to all solve the problem of traffic at McCollough Unis!<\/span><\/p>\n
