Michael Jordan is the best basketball player of all time. A summary of his basketball career and influence on the game can’t explain how good he was. He’s a phenomenal athlete with unique skills of speed, power, artistry, and competitive desire. One of his famous quotes is, “I always believed that if you put in the work, the results will come in.”\"img_2392-2\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Jordan played 15 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA), for the Chicago Bulls and Washington Wizards. In 1984 and 1992, he won Olympic Gold Medal with U.S basketball team. He’s been named NBA Most Valuable Player 7 times! Jordan has 39 awards. He was invisible as “Air Jordan” as part of a sneaker adviserting campaign. “I think Jordan is still famous till now because he is very competitive in everything and was such a great basketball player. He’s also famous for his shoes.” is what Ali Baydoun, an 8th grader who attends Unis Middle School explained.\"img_2404-2\"<\/p>\n

He attended Laney High School in Wilmington, North Carolina, but as a 5’11 skinny sophomore. He was cut from the varsity team. The summer before his junior year, he grew to 6’3 and began his path to an amazing, athletic NBA player. Now, the main point of this story is, how is Michael Jordon still famous till now? He retired 13 years ago, since 2003. He’s only played for 8 years in the NBA! Mohamed Hamade, an 8th grade student who attends to Unis Middle school stated, “The most interesting thing about Jordan is his dunking skills.”<\/p>\n

Another great fact about Jordan is, that he’s still famous after his retirement. He’ll always be known. What kept him famous is his Air Jordan brand. As Forbes puts it, “Nike’s Jordan Brand is a financial juggernaut,” and that’s true. Lots of students at Unis Middle School wear Jordan shoes. Jordan’s are seen everywhere. “The pair of Jordan’s that I think are most popular in Unis Middle School are probably the\u00a0Retro 1’s. Everybody who likes Jordan’s either has a pair, or had a pair at some point in their lives.” Is what Zahra Hassan stated, an 8th grade student who attends Unis Middle School.\"img_2389\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Jordon will always be known for his amazing basketball skills, and for his famous Nike Jordan sneakers.\u00a0He\u00a0also has a clothing line. Another student that had something to say was Fouad Bazzi, who also attends Unis Middle School. He explained, “My favorite pair of Jordan’s are the 11’s because they look the best and are most known.”\"img_2413-2\"<\/p>\n

In conclusion, Jordan ended up being a really successful NBA player. Even though he retired the NBA, he’ll always be known for what he does best, playing competitive on the court. With his branding, people will know him forever. Jordan is a legacy, and his name will always be in the hall of fame.<\/p>\n
