A teen can start driving at the age of fourteen years old and nine months. The age of fourteen is a young age, if you are fourteen you are usually a freshman or a sophomore, a fourteen year doesn\u2019t really need to drive. A good age to start driving would be seventeen. They were at a stop light and all of sudden, a car curved onto the median and crashed into a truck\u00a0that was driving. The person that was driving looked around the age of fifteen or sixteen. \u201cA good age to start driving is seventeen because they are more responsible at that age,\u201d Hussein stated. It&#8217;s a fact that, teen\u00a0drivers are more likely, than older drivers, to get in car accidents. \u201cUnwise drivers shouldn&#8217;t drive,\u201d he said. \u201cI started driving when I was eighteen and I never decided to speed or be a crazy driver.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Fatme Jouni is sixteen years old. She is in driving school and she just got her permit. \u201cThe best age a person should start to drive is fifteen,&#8221; Fatme explained. \u201cAt that age, teens start early college and they need rides to go to places they want to.&#8221; Some drivers that are teenagers don&#8217;t get in car accidents but most do.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/journalism\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/929\/2016\/12\/IMG_4586.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1194 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/journalism\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/929\/2016\/12\/IMG_4586-170x300.png\" alt=\"img_4586\" width=\"150\" height=\"265\" srcset=\"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/journalism\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/929\/2016\/12\/IMG_4586-170x300.png 170w, https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/journalism\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/929\/2016\/12\/IMG_4586.png 181w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 150px) 100vw, 150px\" \/><\/a><\/span>\u00a0A teenager who really got in a car accident is Ibrahim Jouni. Ibrahim is seventeen years old. He told me a good age to start driving would also be fifteen. \u201cI started driving at fifteen and I wasn&#8217;t a bad driver,\u201d he said. Ibrahim was turning and never noticed another car coming and they crashed. \u201cA good age to start driving would be fifteen because they need to drive to high school or drive to there friend&#8217;s house,\u201d he explained. Him and Fatme both agree a good age to drive would be fifteen.<\/p>\n<p>In conclusion, the driving age should be at seventeen. Fatme and Ibrahim both agreed that the age of fifteen is a good\u00a0age to start driving but Hussein said that the age of fifteen is too young. One of the outcomes of getting into a car accident is death. 23% of teen drivers are in car accidents while drinking, which is illegal. Teens even have the lowest rate of wearing a seatbelt, which proves they are too irresponsible to be driving. What do you think about the driving age?
