That\u2019ll only give me 30 minutes to get my homework done. It\u2019s okay, I\u2019ll stay up an extra hour or so to fit in my homework.\u201d You don\u2019t hear students saying that anymore, do you? Now a days it\u2019s \u201cI have a 4 page packet to complete but I also got invited to my friend\u2019s house to play basketball. umm&#8230;, I\u2019ll just copy the homework from someone tomorrow.\u201d This is something I personally view as preposterous so I decided to get other people\u2019s opinion on this.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I asked my father for his opinion on this issue considering he was one of the people who juggled a job and school at a young age. He\u2019s had experience with working while in school so I knew his thoughts on this topic would be perfect. When asked if he felt his grades and focus at school decreased because he had to worry about both school and work, he replied \u201cYes because I worked Tuesdays through Fridays. Her name is Aya Jouni and she\u2019s a freshman at Dearborn High School. For one thing, it helps you become organized and teaches you how to multi-task. Most students today are lazier than students back then. Some people used to cope with school and work and still get their homework done.
