{"id":22,"date":"2017-08-03T18:33:33","date_gmt":"2017-08-03T22:33:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/defaulttemplate1\/?page_id=22"},"modified":"2019-08-31T21:00:06","modified_gmt":"2019-09-01T01:00:06","slug":"class-info","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/jordanc\/enews-subscription\/class-info\/","title":{"rendered":"Class Info"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: large;\">We currently have <strong>20<\/strong> children in our<br \/>class.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: large;\">Special Class Schedule<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: large;\">Monday<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: large;\">Art\u00a0 &#8211; 1:45 pm &#8211; 2:30 pm<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: large;\">Tuesday <\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: large;\">Science Enrichment &#8211; 2:35 pm &#8211; 3:20 pm<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: large;\">Wednesday<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: large;\">No Specials<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: large;\">Thursday\u00a0<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: large;\">Physical Education:\u00a0 10:30 am &#8211; 11:15 am<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: large;\"> Music &#8211; 1:45 pm &#8211; 2:30 pm<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: large;\">Friday<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: large;\">Music &#8211; 1:45 pm &#8211; 2:30 pm<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: large;\">Physical Education: 2:35 pm &#8211; 3:20 pm<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: large;\">REMINDER: Kindergarten students should be wearing gym shoes each day.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: large;\"><u>Snack<\/u>:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: large;\">Your child needs to bring his or her own snack to eat, if they would like, each day.\u00a0 The snack must be healthy!\u00a0 Your child could bring: crackers, animal crackers, crackers with cheese, crackers with peanut butter, cut up vegetables (carrots, celery, etc\u2026), or cut up fruits (apples, bananas, etc..).\u00a0 If they bring in an unhealthy snack they will not be allowed to eat it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: large;\"><u>PBIS Reward System (Discipline Plan)<\/u>:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: large;\">Every month the students have the opportunity to earn a 30 minute reward for the good choices that they have made during the month.\u00a0 If they do not make the appropriate choices then they do not get to participate in the 30 minute reward.\u00a0 Every class has a behavior chart.\u00a0 If a student makes a poor choice then they must flip their card.\u00a0 The number of flips that a student has at the end of the month determines whether or not they get to participate in the reward activity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: large;\">Check your child\u2019s calendar daily to see if they had to flip their card.\u00a0 (It is located on the back of their\u00a0homework folder.)\u00a0 If there is no color they did not have to flip their card, they stayed on green.\u00a0 If they had to flip their card there are different color levels.\u00a0 Every time students make poor choices they must flip their card-\u00a0 Yellow is the first flip, orange is the second flip, red is the third flip, and blue is the\u00a0last flip.\u00a0 Each day the students begin on green.\u00a0 If your child had to flip their card take out the calendar and look on the back.\u00a0 I have written a short reason why they had to flip their card. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: large;\">Every month the number of flips that a student can have goes down by one.\u00a0 As the year progresses we have even higher expectations for a student\u2019s behavior.\u00a0 As they are learning the rules, expectations, and routines at the beginning of the year they have more chances. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We currently have 20 children in ourclass.
