Hi, all! It’s been a while since I posted on here, and for that I apologise. I do have some news to share though.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The week of February 13th-17th will be my last in Dearborn Public Schools. I want to thank you all for allowing me time to spend and grow with your amazing, talented, creative, wickedly smart, beautiful children. I love each and every one of them so dearly and I am going to miss them all so much. I really wish I could stay for them but I need to put myself first this time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I haven’t divulged this information with anyone other than my superiors yet, and if I may ask I’d be very appreciative if I could tell the kids myself on Monday. Of course since I’m letting you all know here I leave that up to your discretion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For Valentine’s Day I plan to give them a hot chocolate party and some gifts as a final present. I really was planning on staying here until the end of the year so I’m also going to throw in whatever Mardi Gras decorations and festivities to introduce the kids to it because I enjoyed it a lot when I was their age. I don’t want anyone to be sad in my absence, I want to leave them smiling and ready to accept a new Kids Club Leader as they did for me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I really do want to stress to the kids that they are no part of the reason I’m leaving. If anything, they are the reason I’ve stayed until I possibly couldn’t anymore. They have taught me so much in this short amount of time and I really hope that I’ve had a positive impact on them. Again, thank you all so much for this opportunity to meet all these amazing people, as well as yourselves. My only regret is I won’t be able to see how much more amazing they become with time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
