{"id":1566,"date":"2016-12-05T14:48:32","date_gmt":"2016-12-05T19:48:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/joachia\/?p=1566"},"modified":"2016-12-05T14:48:32","modified_gmt":"2016-12-05T19:48:32","slug":"the-three-fires-presentation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/joachia\/2016\/12\/05\/the-three-fires-presentation\/","title":{"rendered":"The Three Fires Presentation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Our class just completed a terrific group project. \u00a0This project combined the students&#8217; knowledge of technology (Google classroom, creating text boxes, copying\/pasting of images, researching using google), reading informational text (determining important information and highlighting it, answering a question using a text for evidence), non-fiction text features (illustration, heading, caption, photograph), and content (Michigan History: The Three Fires). \u00a0The students worked on this project with each pair assigned to complete one slide\u00a0for a whole-class slide show presentation.
