What was<br \/>\nthe same?<br \/>\n\u2022 How might the circumstances in<br \/>\nwhich the document was created<br \/>\naffect its content?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Corroboration\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 What do other documents say?<br \/>\n\u2022 Do the documents agree? If not,<br \/>\nwhy?<br \/>\n\u2022 What are other possible<br \/>\ndocuments?<br \/>\n\u2022 What documents are most reliable?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Close Reading<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 What claims does the author make?<br \/>\n\u2022 What evidence does the author use?<br \/>\n\u2022 What language (words, phrases,<br \/>\nimages, symbols) does the author<br \/>\nuse to persuade the document\u2019s<br \/>\naudience?<br \/>\n\u2022 How does the document\u2019s language<br \/>\nindicate the author\u2019s perspective?<\/p>\n<p>Complete the graphic organizer which is based off of the documents ( this was last Friday&#8217;s homework)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Answer the questions ( Graphic Organizer):<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Was the Reign of Terror Justified ?<\/p>\n<p>Did the French Government have good reason to conduct a violent campaign against those\u00a0 who they believed were threatening the goals of the French Revolution?<\/p>\n<p>Gather evidence for both potential responses ( Yes and No) to this question but be prepared to formulate a strong response with evidence from the documents<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Third Read of Documents A-G Take your time in class re reading, discussing , and defining unfamiliar words.
