It was so nice meeting some more of you \ud83d\ude42 \u00a0I updated the list of useful websites that your child has access to at home. \u00a0See the link under pages- top right hand corner.<\/p>\n<p>Frontrowed and MobyMax are great websites for Math! \u00a0Students can get more practice at home using these sites. They know how to log in but I included information and class codes on the link.<\/p>\n<p>Newsela and Read Works are awesome resources your child can use for Reading at home. \u00a0What I like about these sites is that they give students non-fiction passages at their reading level. \u00a0Read Works also has a tab for vocabulary and text-dependent questions. So those of you who are wanting your child to do more Reading homework, these sites would be perfect for that! \u00a0I will assign articles to each child, every week, based on what I feel would be a good fit. \u00a0They are also free to search articles of their own. \u00a0This could count as part or all of their 20 minutes of Reading each night homework. \u00a0I will monitor their work through these sites, once the students hits &#8220;submit&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>There are some other great sites listed that your child has access to, using their student number. \u00a0These are just a few of the useful sites we use in our classroom.<\/p>\n<p>***Parent-Teacher Conferences***<\/p>\n<p>I will be sending home your conference time at the end of this week. I was able to keep most, if not all, times the same from when you previously signed up.
