Good afternoon Parents!<\/p>\n

As the first week of school comes to a close, I want to reflect and share out a couple of pictures \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

This week was full of excitement and getting to know each other!\u00a0 We played get to know you games, did STEM challenges and practiced team building, learned about my expectations and rules for the year, and talked about the year ahead and all the fun we will have!<\/p>\n

Next week, we will dig into the 4th grade curriculum with full steam!\u00a0 Your child has already received many log-ins for various computer programs we will be using this year.\u00a0 Some include: iLearn (used for Spelling and Reading groups), Zearn (used during Math workshop), Raz-Kids, and Google Classroom.<\/p>\n

Look for a newsletter sent home on Tuesday and also posted to the Blog.<\/p>\n

Below are some pictures from today’s 2 team building challenges.\u00a0 Students worked in groups to build the tallest tower made of spaghetti noodles, tape, and a marshmallow on top.\u00a0 Also, we did an activity called: Save Sam.\u00a0 Ask your child about this activity, I believe they had a fun time doing it!<\/p>\n

Reminder- No school tomorrow or Friday.\u00a0 Happy Labor Day!!<\/p>\n
