Below are the Spelling Words for the week, test will be on Friday. Thank you for signing and returning the Spelling Assessment booklets today \ud83d\ude42 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This week I will continue to DRA test your child to find their current reading level. We will also take the NWEA test for Reading and Math. Tomorrow we will begin Math, and Wednesday we will take the Reading. This test is not timed, so your child can have as long as they need to finish. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the past, they took the NWEA test that read questions to them. This test, is going to be much different. There is no audio at all. This is a Grade 2-5 adaptive test, meaning, your child can get questions from various grade-level standards depending on how well they are doing. It will be difficult at first for them, so don’t be surprised at their Fall scores. But, we hope to see a ton of growth by Winter and Spring! We can talk more about this test and their scores when I see you for Parent-Teacher conferences. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
