Keep the Quote\"\"<\/a><\/h3>\n

Keep the Quote is a fun, weekly goal-setting\u00a0 activity that we will do from now until the end of the year.\u00a0 Each Monday, I will post a new quote (will also take quotes from student recommendations).\u00a0 We will discuss what the quote means and how we can EARN that quote.\u00a0 For example, if the quote is \u201cBe somebody who makes everybody feel like a somebody\u201d, we would explain that our class should be trying to actively make others feel good about themselves.\u00a0 They should be giving compliments to others and making sure everyone is included.<\/p>\n

On each Friday, we will nominate students who have demonstrated qualities of the quote.\u00a0 We will vote on one student and give reasons why that student \u2018earned the quote\u201d.\u00a0 When there is a winner chosen, that student gets to \u201cKeep the Quote\u201d.\u00a0 I will rip it off, we will all sign the back with words of encouragement, and they can take it home\u00a0\ud83d\ude42\u00a0 Then we start again the following week with a new quote to work towards.\u00a0 This all fits in with the spreading kindness and the new Habits Mr. Short has put into place each month.<\/p>\n

I hope the students enjoy this activity and really look forward to making this a goal- to keep the quote!<\/p>\n
