I’m so excited I get to be your child’s teacher this year!! \u00a05th grade is very exciting with many new things to learn! \u00a0We will have two student teachers, Miss Resmer and Miss Van Every! \u00a0They are very enthusiastic and will be a great addition to our family!<\/p>\n

Most of you have signed and returned both the parent letter\/compact and emergency forms. \u00a0If you have not done so yet, please do. \u00a0If you have any questions, please feel free to email me and I will call you back as soon as I can.<\/p>\n

We have started the NWEA test this week. \u00a0I plan on testing this week and next, and then start the DRA reading test. \u00a0You will not see much home this first month of school, but I do expect the planner to still be signed.<\/p>\n

I have posted spelling words under the Spelling tab. \u00a0I also posted important dates under the Events tab. \u00a0Please check that out periodically as I will add dates as things come up. \u00a0I plan on having a parent meeting in the near future, so please look out for that date!<\/p>\n
