The mission of the Dearborn Public School Instructional Coach Model is:<\/p>\n<p><strong>To increase student achievement through utilizing best practices in partnership coaching and co-teaching with classroom teachers.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Goals:<strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>To co-teach with classroom teachers during classroom literacy instruction.<\/li>\n<li>To co-teach small group instruction with the lowest 30% of students.<\/li>\n<li>To collaborate with the leadership team to facilitate professional learning.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Instructional Coaching is an embedded professional learning activity for district teachers.\u00a0 Teachers volunteer to partner with the Instructional Coach on an element of instructional practice of their choice.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An Instructional Coach\u00a0collaborates to co-teach best practices of literacy instruction with teachers in classrooms in whole group and small group settings.
