Greetings, Friends & Families!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What was happening in Room 115?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Welcome back everyone to our first school week of year 2025! In this week, we practiced and did our best to go back to our school routines. We gathered every morning and met for “Morning Meeting\/Circle Time”, then we practiced learning how to build our names using different strategies, we also practiced counting numbers 1-10 using building blocks, our fingers, or toys. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For reading comprehension and to answer “What book did we read?”<\/strong> and “What was our core word?”<\/strong>, we did a book walk of “I Like Food”<\/strong> book from the\u00a0\u201cCore First Learning\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0series. Our core word for this month will be “Like”<\/strong>. ELA objective<\/strong>s\u00a0for the month of January<\/strong> that we will focus on are “I can tell the difference between words and pictures” and “I can identify a main character\u00a0in a story”. This week’s story was “Snowmen All Year”<\/strong> written by “Caralyn Buehner” <\/strong><\/strong>and pictures by “Mark Buehner”<\/strong>. Math objective<\/strong>\u00a0for the month of January <\/strong>is “I can identify fractions<\/strong>“. ULS<\/strong> topic for this month is “Physical Science\/See It, Feel It, Describe It”.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We went to Music and met Mrs. Reed, Gym and met Mr. Borg, and to the Art and met Mrs. Nada. We met our occupational therapist (Mrs. Andrea), physical therapist(Mrs. Sandy) and our speech therapist (Ms. katelyn Pinkowski).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
