Greetings, Friends & Families!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What was happening in our classroom?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Welcome everyone to our second week of school \ud83d\ude42<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. We started this week on Tuesday which was an early release day.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. This week, we learned all that we can about the letter “A”<\/strong> which was our letter of the week. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. FUN FACT about the letter “A”:<\/strong> in our classroom we found that four of our friends their names start with the letter “A”. Anisa, Adam, Ava<\/strong>, and Ahmed<\/strong>!<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. “A”<\/strong> is for “Apple”<\/strong>, and we made the letter “A”<\/strong> craft. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. For reading comprehension, we answered the following questions, “What book did we read?”<\/strong> & “What was our core word?<\/strong>“, and for that we read “I Said Hi”<\/strong> book from the “Core First Learning”<\/strong> series. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Our core word for the month of September will be “I”<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. This week’s story was “The Pigeon Has to Go to School”<\/strong> by “Mo Willems”.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. ELA objectives<\/strong> for the month of September that we will be focusing on are: I can identify What, Who, and Where questions about a familiar story. I can understand that books are read one page at a time, beginning to end.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  10. For math comprehension, we started to learn about counting numbers 1-10. We counted our fingers, blocks, pictures, and on our communication devices. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  11. Math objectives<\/strong> for the month of September that we will be focusing on are: I can count objects up to 10. I can count objects up to 20. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  12. Our “ULS”<\/strong> focus for this month will be on “I Can Follow The Rules”<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  13. We went to Music and met Mrs. Reed, Gym and met Mr. Borg, and to the Art and met Mrs., Nada.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  14. Finally, we met our speech specialist(Ms. Katleyn), physical therapist(Mrs. Sandy), and occupational therapist(Mrs. Andrea). <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
