Entering a new month means new ELA and Math standards: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ELA: \u201cI can determine meaning of unknown words in a text\u201d \u201cI can write about a personal experience. I can identify when to use capital letters in text.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Math:  &#8220;I can group numbers in lots for multiplication and understand repeated addition.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Number Intervention:&nbsp;11<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Letter\/Sound of the Week:&nbsp;M and short vowel CVCs<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fiction text of the week:&nbsp;\u201cTadpole Teasing\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nonfiction text of the week: \u201cBecoming a U.S Citizen\u201d and \u201cStates of Matter\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sight words of the week:&nbsp;<em>look, in <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Science: Physical science:\u00a0<em>States of Matter<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We had a great time at our field trip to <em>LifeTown!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Announcements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last week, slips were sent home for the <em>Holiday Shoppe. <\/em>If your child is interested in buying anything sent the slip back by December 11th. Parents, if you are interested in volunteering email me.
