Entering a new month means new ELA and Math focus standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ELA: \u201cI can identify the main idea of a text.\u201d “I can write about a personal experience. I can identify when to use capital letters in text.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Math: \u201cI can add and subtract whole numbers and solve one-step word problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Number Intervention:\u00a08<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Letter\/Sound of the Week:\u00a0J<\/em> and short vowel CVCs<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fiction text of the week:\u00a0\u201cStone Soup\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Parent Teacher Conferences continue next week.\u00a0<\/strong>Most of you have signed up for a slot. If you have I will send home a reminder with your specific date\/time 2 days prior. Please sign up for a slot if you have not already done so! Sign up sheets went home a couple weeks ago. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
