This week we continue to work toward mastering answering our essential elements standards:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

ELA: “I can answer questions about nonfiction text using information directly from the text.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Math: “I can compare whole numbers up to 50 or quantities up to 20 using greater than, less than, or equal to. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Letter of the Week: B<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Realistic Nonfiction text of the week: Lily the Cat<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Word of the week: “the” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank you for those of you who attended Open House! If you were unable to attend, I sent home a daily schedule so that you are able to get a feel of what our classroom is like each day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Friendly reminders: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zoo permission slips are due on Friday September 20th. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Half day is on Friday September 20th. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The zoo trip is Friday September 27th. Please remember to dress your child appropriately and send them with a bagged lunch. No purchases will be available. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Announcements: The district is completing hearing screenings for our class Monday September 30th and Tuesday October 1st. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Late Start: Wednesday September 25th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
