Thank you to everyone that donated baked goods, time and money to our sale.\u00a0 We raise $120 at our bake sale!\u00a0 Luna’s grandma took 20 milkweed seeds and 10 candles to try to sell.\u00a0 If she is successful that will be another $50.<\/p>\n
We voted to on our endangered animal to adopt.\u00a0 We decided to adopt the Red Panda through the World Wildlife Fund.\u00a0 This was a $55 donation.<\/p>\n
The 100 packets of milkweed seeds cost $35.\u00a0 If we can sell them all we will have $200 from those donations also.\u00a0 We sold 8 seed packets at our sale.\u00a0 \u00a0If you would like to help sell milkweed seed packets in your neighborhood or work let me know.<\/p>\n
I will bring the cart outside for the next couple of days to sell the left over treats and crayons.\u00a0 If there is someone who would like to take it to the front door to sell the crayons to the younger kids one day let me know.\u00a0 If you give me a couple of days notice we can have the lower elementary teacher make an announcement on their blogs.<\/p>\n
For those of you who don’t know yet.\u00a0 Green team is trying to raise money to build a Monarch Butterfly Way station or butterfly garden in the fenced in nature area on our property.\u00a0 I could use some good gardeners for advice on planning our garden.\u00a0 We need to create a budget of how much money we need to raise.<\/p>\n
Next meeting is October 30th.<\/p>\n
