{"id":140,"date":"2015-02-19T07:29:15","date_gmt":"2015-02-19T12:29:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/howegreenteam\/?p=140"},"modified":"2015-02-19T07:29:15","modified_gmt":"2015-02-19T12:29:15","slug":"green-team-meeting-33-and-writing-contest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/howegreenteam\/2015\/02\/19\/green-team-meeting-33-and-writing-contest\/","title":{"rendered":"Green Team Meeting 3\/3 and Writing Contest"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hi Green Team,<\/p>\n<p>Our next meeting in coming soon!\u00a0 We will be meeting on Tuesday, March 3rd.\u00a0\u00a0 We will be planning our Earth Day Celebration in April,\u00a0 investigating the possibility of planting a new tree at the school as part of our Earth Day Celebration, taking a nature walk to look at how animals use trees (if it is warm enough) and finishing our Public Service Announcements.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Writing Contest<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>As part of our Green School participation activities I would like us to participate in the Go Green Youth Challenge writing contest.\u00a0 Each student should write a short essay (up to 350 words) on the topic:\u00a0 If You Were a Tree, What Tree would You Be, and Why?\u00a0 Read all about the contest and guidelines in the letter below.\u00a0 I have also attached the entry form for the contest.
