Bryant Summer Learning\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Johns Hopkins University, the effects of summer learning loss can result in nearly a three-month loss in grade-level equivalency in math and a two-month loss in grade-level equivalency in reading. \u00a0In order to close the summer learning loss gap in reading and math, middle school students will be\u00a0 expected to complete Summer Learning before they return in the fall.\u00a0 Teachers will grade the completed <\/strong>summer work when school opens in August.\u00a0 Below are the literacy expectations by grade level.\u00a0 Thank you so much for supporting your child\u2019s development through summer learning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
