We went over the  quiz to make sure to reiterate a few points.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a class, we went over SAT 2 terms with special explanation of analogy, connotation, and denotation.  Hope you all heard my explanation about restitution and atone so as not to confuse them on the quiz!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Continued with brainstorming activity for the essay we are doing as a class.   Continued modeling ways to go through the process and planning.  We will continue to work on this for the next week or so. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Retake for SAT quiz 1 is on <strong>Thursday during lunch<\/strong> if you got a 5 or below. You must do all of the following or you will not have the opportunity to retest:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>write a letter explaining why you earned that score<\/li><li>make a quiz, a review guide, note cards, practice quiz and bring it along with you to prove you took the extra step<\/li><li>tell me your plan for the next quiz and all future quizzes so this doesn&#8217;t become a weekly habit <\/li><li>Have your parents sign the letter <\/li><li><strong>Bring a bagged lunch<\/strong> and report to my classroom at the beginning of lunch on Thursday <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>H.W.  study for SAT 2 quiz on Friday and continue reading 30-40 minutes every evening <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SAT quiz 1 was returned.
