I miss you all so much and I cannot wait to see you again! The next unit we will be starting is about texture. Texture is about layers in music. You could have one layer of just a voice, then you add a guitar to make it more interesting, and then you could add drums to get a nice beat. Texture in music is about thick and thin. Thick is when there are a lot of instruments playing at once and thin is when there are only a few instruments playing.<\/p>\n<p>Very soon, I&#8217;ll be posting a video of me creating what we call a texture chart using the song below. For now, I want you to listen to this song and think when is the song thick? When is the song thin?
