This is a result of Governor Whitmer\u2019s order to close all K-12 school buildings, public, private, and boarding, starting Monday, March 16 until Sunday, April 5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dearborn Public Schools spring break will take place from Monday, April 6 through Friday, April 10. Students will return to school on Monday, April 13, 2020.\/<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>REMIND<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019m sure that you have already downloaded the Remind 101 app for your mobile device. In order to receive reminders from Ms. Colter and myself please text the following message&nbsp;<strong>@dbc668<\/strong>&nbsp;to&nbsp;<strong>81010<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Free Meal Pick Up Provided by Dearborn Public Schools:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Starting today (March 17<sup>th<\/sup>), Dearborn Public Schools will offer free pickup breakfast and lunch to all of our students at any of the following six school locations: Fordson High School, Dearborn High, Edsel Ford High School, McCollough\/Unis Middle School, Salina Intermediate and Woodworth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The grab-and-go meals will be available from 10 a.m. to noon from now through April 3<sup>rd<\/sup>. Hopefully they will extend it over spring break (April 6<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;through 10<sup>th<\/sup>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a great resource and if it can be useful to your family any child age 18 or younger is invited to receive a meal. Be sure to bring your younger siblings along with you so you can all have enough to eat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>CHROME BOOKS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We will be passing out chromebooks for students who need one.&nbsp; Chromebooks will be passed out&nbsp;<strong>Thursday, March 19<\/strong><strong><sup>th<\/sup><\/strong><strong>&nbsp;from 10:00am to 1:00 pm and Friday, March 20th&nbsp; from 10:00am to 1:00pm.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Distribution of chrome books will be in the back parking lot, next to the Freshmen Academy.&nbsp; Parents must come to the school, present their child\u2019s student id and sign a form to receive a chromebook.&nbsp; Only one chromebook will be given per family. If your family received one from the middle school or elementary, we will not provide another one.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once a student receives the chromebook, they need to sign on and check their teachers\u2019 blogs for assignments.&nbsp; Reminder Chrome books will not, I repeat will not be given away without Student ID<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We ask that everyone exercises patience during this process.
