{"id":1556,"date":"2020-03-15T11:39:57","date_gmt":"2020-03-15T15:39:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/hoffmae\/?p=1556"},"modified":"2020-03-15T11:39:59","modified_gmt":"2020-03-15T15:39:59","slug":"sunday-experiment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/hoffmae\/2020\/03\/15\/sunday-experiment\/","title":{"rendered":"Sunday Experiment"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Good morning!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because we won\u2019t be able to do fun experiments together for a little while, we thought why not have fun at home and share with each other?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This experiment is not required for a grade but is a great way to understand how washing your hands keeps germs away!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here\u2019s what you\u2019ll need:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/youncel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1197\/2020\/03\/black-pepper-and-dish-soap-experiments2-3-728.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2264\"\/><figcaption>Materials: dish, pepper (represent germs), water, dish soap<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Step 1: Pour water into the dish.<\/li><li>Step 2: Add lots of pepper to the water so that it covers the top of the water.<\/li><li>Step 3: Dip your finger into the dish. How much pepper (germs) touched your finger?<\/li><li>Step 4: Put soap on a different finger.<\/li><li>Step 5: Dip the soapy finger into the dish. What happened this time?<\/li><li>Step 6: Share a picture, video or write to tell us your findings!&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>While our Sunday experiment challenges are not required, it\u2019s a fun way to stay engaged in our learning experiences!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Good morning!
