{"id":1035,"date":"2019-09-03T15:35:28","date_gmt":"2019-09-03T19:35:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/hoffmae\/?p=1035"},"modified":"2019-09-03T15:46:13","modified_gmt":"2019-09-03T19:46:13","slug":"monday-sept-3rd","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/hoffmae\/2019\/09\/03\/monday-sept-3rd\/","title":{"rendered":"Monday Sept. 3rd"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Homework will start going home today.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-very-dark-gray-color\"><strong>Math:&nbsp;<\/strong>Students will have a homework math book and math bag that they bring home everyday and return everyday to school. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-vivid-red-color\"><strong>Today there will be no math homework because we will be testing in NWEA (for the rest of the week). <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Spelling:&nbsp;<\/strong>Students will also have daily spelling homework with spelling tests on Friday. (This week we have a easy list to ease students into practicing and testing)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-vivid-red-color\"><strong>Today&#8217;s spelling homework is to finish Monday and Tuesday (started in class). <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Reading:&nbsp;<\/strong>Book bags will go home with students and come back to school everyday. Students will read for 20 minutes a day and mark off their R.E.D. folder reading charts.  <strong>(Until students are tested in reading they will have a variety of books up to the first grade reading level to practice with<\/strong>.) <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-vivid-red-color\"><strong>Today&#8217;s reading homework &#8211; Read for 20 minutes and sign folder. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Coming Up-<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wednesday: Library<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thursday: Media Center &amp; Science<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Friday: Music &amp; Art<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Homework will start going home today.
