I am Alysia Haddix, the school psychologist at Henry Ford Elementary, McDonald Elementary, and Cotter Early Childhood Center.

I studied at Wayne State University and did my internship right here in Dearborn Public Schools. I am a mother to a beautiful baby girl!

My role in the schools is usually behind the scenes. I work with teachers, parents, and other staff members to support students that may be having difficulties with academics or social emotional needs. Part of my role is to participate in MTSS meetings where staff regularly brainstorm with teachers on how to support some students that may be struggling. I also consult with parents and teachers, evaluate students for special education, and work collaboratively with other special education staff to support all the learning needs of our students.

If you ever have any questions, please feel free to contact me!

Alysia Haddix, School Psychologist

(313) 827-7528

haddixa@dearbornschools.org

Social Work

Liala Sobh

Zahra Zaarour

Resource Teachers

Jessie Douponce

Enid Check

Speech & Language Pathologists

Mary Elaswad

Danielle Macari

Occupational Therapy

Carolyn Burnet

Psychologist Hi there!
