Our last day of WIDA testing is tomorrow morning first thing for the writing portion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is Valentine’s Day Friday \ud83d\ude42 Your child may bring in small treats and valentines to share with the class. We have 21 students. I’ll send home a list of the students names today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We’re in our last week of our Solving Problems through Technology reading\/writing unit. The students will finish up their opinion writing on the topic of what they think the most important invention is. Our spelling words focus on the vowel spelling “ou” “ow”: out, count, round, mouth, house, now, brown, town, owl, cow<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We’re finishing up our math unit on using addition and subtraction strategies to solve problems both in number form and word form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
No School next week Feb. 17-21 for mid winter break. See you back on Feb. 24.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
