Please remember to send a lunch with your child in a bag. We have a day filled with educational, fun experiences. Please have your child here on time because the bus can&#8217;t wait if anyone is late.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Late Start Wednesday. School begins at 9:35. NWEA testing will be on Thursday morning this week. We&#8217;ll test 1 subject this week, then another next week.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Due the schedule, no spelling words this week.<\/p>\n<p>Our reading strategy continues with informational text and reading to ask and answer questions from the text.<\/p>\n<p>We will write our last opinion paper the next couple of weeks based on a social studies topic about changing the environment.<\/p>\n<p>Social studies and science topics become woven in with reading and writing. We&#8217;re reading about events in other communities that relate to Dearborn events regarding changing the landscape and environment. We&#8217;ll discuss the positive and negative consequences of the changes. We&#8217;ll also have another social studies test Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>During science, we continue to view our seeds growing and the watching the changes. We&#8217;ll be reviewing the plant parts and their functions.<\/p>\n<p>We had our last library book check out for the year last week.
